Thursday, February 19
Places, Tasks, and Media in Family Tree Maker (SIG)  (Class)
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Virtual
Presented by Frank Snow and Noel Ferre

Are you using Family Tree Maker but know there’s more it can do? This Special Interest Group (SIG)  is designed to help you get comfortable with the basics and then move into advanced features. Together we’ll cover data entry, organizing sources and media, creating charts and reports, mapping places, syncing with Ancestry, and solving common problems. Each session includes demonstrations, practical tips, and time for your questions. Whether you’re just starting out or want to sharpen your FTM skills, you’ll leave with confidence and new strategies for growing and organizing your family tree.

Thursday, March 5 through Friday, March 6
Join Us for RootsTech Watch Party – March 5 & 6, 10 am-4 pm, Castle Rock Library  (Class)
10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Our society has reserved meeting rooms for a special two-day RootsTech Watch Party on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6!
We’ll gather to view a selection of RootsTech webinars together—some live, some recorded—and will remain flexible in our schedule based on the interests of those attending.

Whether you’re new to genealogy or a seasoned researcher, RootsTech offers something for everyone: research techniques, technology tools, DNA insights, and inspiring stories from the global genealogy community.

This is a relaxed, come-and-go event with no registration required. Join us for one session or stay for the day, participate in discussion, and enjoy learning together in a friendly setting.

Feel free to bring a snack to share with the group, along with your curiosity, questions, and love of family history.
